Why does doomscrolling on Instagram feel worse, while on Twitter feels enlightening?
because even if you keep your insta algo good, their team is determined to push reels which would be cheap, unrelatable, or influencers just trying to show off.
Exactly. Even though you make considerate effort to clean up your search feed and timeline, by downvoting/hiding etc, they still end up showing those stuffs. They just keep pushing song,dance,reels, vlogs stuffs, and that’s because that is what gets them viewerships; that is their bread and butter.
Whereas twitter’s core focus is text conversations and discussions focussed around current affairs/news.
So there is huge difference in their focus area.
Because twitter at least gives you some info of current affairs, news, politics, while Instagram gives just pure entertainment that too mostly of cheap level (I know I know it depends on algorithm based on your own likes/views, but mostly it always tend to be useless, or purly entertaining stuff)
