Why do people hate Topmate ?

Maybe because of the people on it. I find topmate in itself to be a good product, but nowadays every other person who just got an internship at a top company creates a topmate account and offers "career guidance". So now when I see a topmate link, my first instinct is to assume that it's just another person trying to make a quick buck out of their recent fame and not actually contribute anything meaningful
