Why do Indians come to Canada to work at fast food joints ?
I've noticed a lot of people around me go to Canada and work menial jobs over the past five years. And I am talking about decently well educated people who go to Canada for higher studies, many of whom are young professionals in their mid-20s or older.
Many of these workers are also pursuing education at local colleges, often in business programs.
I'm curious to understand the factors behind this trend,What economic and immigration factors are driving this change in Canada's fast food workforce?

They are playing the long game. India is on the wrong path. There is reservations that are from cradle to grave. Want to start a business? you have to bribe for every nut and bolt, scale it up a sustainable levels - put up with the babu bullshit or some loony leftist will make it a caste issue for unionism and his political career. Find a salaried job, work like a donkey without any back up option, only to pay for all ladli behnas and sundar saasuma yojana. Unless you belong to the right caste, farming is impossible, with the amount of black money going into land, farming is anyways impossible.
decent Education, employment is out reach for most of the people. with High money required for education in private sector and one medical emergency away from bankruptcy, high taxes. There is only one reason two stay in india - unable to go anywhere else.
