Why did Cred destroy Kuvera?

Are there any folks from Cred or Kuvera here who can discuss why and how something as functional as Kuvera was destroyed by Cred? Like was there no internal protest? Did the Kuvera team agree to be destroyed like this?

Nothing against either team but I am indeed very curious to know what exactly transpired behind the scenes.
