Why can't companies provide WFH during rains?

I work in Hyderabad but my friends & colleagues from Bengaluru & Pune share the same feeling. The government sends messages to be careful of the rains. The organizations send mails saying it's an orange alert. Then why can't they just provide WFH during those days at least?

What's the obsession with this going to office policy all the companies have these days? I feel so frustrated that no one actually cares about us!!
