Trending @Capgemini; Why Bench Code When I’m in a Project?
Hi everyone,
I got added to a project and from this month started working as a billable resource. But my manager told me to still fill my Replicon using the bench code, not the project code.
I’m a bit confused because I thought once we are billable, we should use the project code.
He's saying that "the billability approval has taken extension to two months, so you better fill bench code itself", is it cause my team is traveling to another cg location for a visit in the upcoming month, while he's saying that you are not allowed to join cause you are not bolale.
Has anyone else faced this? That one senior who already have the answer to this, please don't hesitate to comment.
They might use you as a shadow resource for 2 months after that once the client is satisfied with your performance and inputs then start charging against you. My suggestion is try to be proactive in learning the process and always ask questions to peers and show involvement in client meetings so that they'll be able to see your potential.
