Why Bangalore Why!!!!!
I've been in Bangalore for a few months now and recently moved from a service apartment to a new flat. The rent is ₹28K, plus I had to pay ₹28K in brokerage and a ₹60K deposit. So far, I haven't come across a landlord or broker willing to negotiate on rent or brokerage, no matter how unreasonable the charges seem.
To add to the frustration, there are issues in the flat—like a faulty flush and no shelf in the bathroom—but when I ask the landlord to fix them, he simply ignores my messages. Why is it so hard to find a decent landlord here? Bangalore, why can’t you be more welcoming to people moving in from other cities?

Landlords are pretty much same everywhere.
My last landlord in bangalore was great!!! (Can write a para about him)
And people do negotiate (alot tbh).

Trust me it’s not same as Bangalore everywhere, I also have rented out my 3 flat in my hometown and we have tried providing them the reasonable rent and ameneties . Btw Hoping to find a landlord like yours in future .🥲

Not the same in Pune at least. Bangalore and Chennai are special in this matter

Also in Bangalore most of these landlords don't even return half of the deposit. Try to find a landlord who is working in any company he will be much better then non working one

We gave out flat for 18k rent 2 bhk with 600 meters walking distance from metro station in Whitefield for last 6+ years (same rent)

I can help you out with good Landlord who is in Whitefield area. Please come to visit once a while and check the location for yourself, in Whitefield Post Office area. By the way I am not a broker.

Sorry to hear your experience but how do you know every where in bangalore it's the same?
BTW, there are many different ways to find rent in bangalore without brokers.... if you have heard about NoBroker.com, most IT guys keep the add there.
