Trending @Infosys; Who is Releasing Manager?

While applying for the IJP, it asks for the Releasing Manager mail ID. Who is it? Is it my Reporting Manager? Or my current Project Manager? Or someone else?

Current means which current? Reporting Manager or Project Manager? I have applied for an IJP putting Reporting Manager as Releasing Manager assuming he has the power to release me. So, will this be an issue if I get selected?
