Who is making me fool?
Hi everyone,
I recently changed my job and joined Deloitte after leaving Infosys. After about 3 months of leaving Infosys, I asked the Infosys Retiral Team to create a PF Transfer Request with EPFO. As far as I know, they created the PF Transfer Request.
However, a few days back, on 1st November, I received an SMS stating that my PF Transfer Request had been rejected by EPFO. When I checked the EPFO website, I saw that the reason given for rejection was that there was no EPS contribution from my previous employer.
When I asked Infosys about this, they said that since my salary was more than ₹15,000, I was not eligible for EPS, and that it was completely fine. They also told me that I would receive my money in the next 30–40 days. I accepted that explanation.
Meanwhile, I had also created a CPGRAMS ticket against EPFO. After a few days, that CPGRAMS ticket was closed by an EPFO officer. The conclusion he gave was that no such PF transfer claim had been created by the Infosys team. He also asked for proof, such as Annexure K or any other supporting document.
This left me completely confused.
So, I emailed the Infosys team regarding this. In my mail, I mentioned that my CP-GRAMS ticket had been closed by EPFO with the reason that no transfer claim was created by Infosys, and they were asking for proof. However, the Infosys team did not reply to my email.
Then I logged in to the Infosys Alumni Portal and created a ticket there, describing the entire situation. After some time, they responded to the ticket, confirming that the transfer request had indeed been created by Infosys and also repeating that I was not eligible for EPS, which they said is completely normal.
But today, just 2–3 hours later, when I tried to log in again to the Infosys Alumni Portal, I found that I was no longer able to log in. It seems as if someone has deleted my ID from the portal. I tried multiple times after gap of 1-2 hrs in different browsers.
Now I am not able to understand who is making a fool of me. Is it EPFO, or is it Infosys, or are both of them misleading me? I am completely confused. Now my money is neither in Infosys pvt trust nor in EPFO account, not sure where it is.
