Who is a High performer? Who will get a double digit hike on what basis?
I received an A band with a 7% hike. However, within the same unit, another person received an 11% increase. We are from different locations, and he is a developer while I am a designer.
We both followed RTO, and both of us gave our best, impressing our respective managers with our work. However, we had different managers.
Assumptions:
- It might depend on the manager. They have to suggest our name for both the A band and high performance.
- To receive a double-digit increase, we may need to have received an A band for the last 2 years.
- It may depend on the unit's revenue.
If any Manager,HR or Accounting team people in this forum please explain this. I want to know. On what basis they choose high performance.
I'm absolutely certain that I put in 200% effort in every aspect of my work. Still got 7%.

Recommendations from project decides top performers

So there's a chance that even though someone gets A band, they may not be a top performer?

Yes, Project manager has to recommend a few names out of all the people for whom they have given A band. My colleague said that in our project 20% of A banders got high performer hike(i don't know if all this is true).
