Who all miss Stackoverflow ?
Logged in SO after 3 years, sad to see frequency of questions dropped drastically. SQL and JavaScript used to have new question posted every minute, now its strange to see last question posted yesterday.
LLMs have truly taken over. Was just feeling nostalgic, thank you stackoverflow for being my support during my initial sw development years, thankyou for the legends on it. Miss the addiction of competing posting answers and scoring streaks.

Oh yeah. I miss it too. Never asked question or answered anyone. Wasn't wise enough.
But gosh I miss it soo much. I remember how I use to copy paste issue on Google, and the relief that someone faced the exact issue on SO.. and the panic if no one answered it yet.
Ok AI replicates the exact same final result. No doubt. But those nerdy brains writing nerdy answers, sharing the documentation links, 100 other unrelated yet totally important information.. and in some way I feel I'm much better at tech stack/General architecture I've learned at that time comparing to what I write nowadays.. it's just tab tab tab.
I fking now how every basic thing works in Django, why settings.py.. why each Middleware.. literally every minute details (but I wasn't ever paid for working in Django lol)
Now I write Records, stream what not.. and I have zero clue why they are better or even important lol. But I produce 10x code. Good for company. Can't say about myself.. and what I do in that remaining "productive" tiime..??? Write answer here. Lol. (Oh btw I do get paid for writing Java and have zero clue about the language)
