
While On notice period is it mandatory to reach to office?
Hi all, I’m currently serving my notice period and wanted some clarity. HR is asking for daily office reporting, but there's no ODC at my location. If I skip office for 2–3 days in a month, will that cause any issue? Also, is it possible that they can extend the last working date? Appreciate your insights.
Bro, here is the honest truth, start going to office daily, u don't wanna risk anything be it policies, or salary or any minor thing especially since u r in notice period.
Don't give reason like there is no ODC, just mail your HR directly, Sir/Madam, i won't be able to come to office as I don't have a seat assigned/whatever, if it's mandatory to attend office, requesting you to please share me the ODC and seat so I can come there.
This does two things, one makes HR take action like raising a seat/oDc access and as u know all humans especially HRs are lazy, they will not even reply to your email.
If anything comes later like u didn't come office, say I have clearly communicated this on official mail and even followed up, but since there was no response and I'm leaving company eventually i let it go
