ngl, but the idea of stable job at 35L is pretty dumb comparing with successful biz potentially earnings in few Cr min

Frankly, getting with YC can be good choice, as even if your idea fails still that YC badge can help you to get into 80+ or 1cr+ package in short time than the time required to grow with a stable 35 job as the amount of learning and experience, including network you get in YC which cannot be got in the 35 job.
So either way it will be a win-win if you get into YC.

YC is overrated

If you have got a 35lpa job then it's highly likely that you can get that much back even (if not more) if the start-up didn't work. And, ig other factors like liabilities, family responsibilities, etc. will also be an imp factor in deciding btwn the two

Maybe 2nd option is being read as guaranteed getting into Y Combinator. In that case, ppl would surely want to be their own boss
