Which tool do you use for product analytics?

Honestly, more than the tool, it’s what insights one draws from that data matters more.

A tool is basically a support device which would make your job easier.

I’ve seen PM’s using Mixpanel to create and present funnels and lift rates which could be done with GA, SQL and Excel combo.

I would like to understand what all metrics does a PM track and how do they add value to the ecosystem.

At my previous startup we didn’t have any tool. Mostly data was hosted on redshift (30d rolling) and used sql to fetch it. Took lot of time, but then again it kind of made sense for their scale
