Which project should I choose in my oracle internship?

Bagged an internship in oracle for summer of 2024. We've been given 4 BU's as options:

  1. OCI
  2. Oracle Analytics
  3. Oracle corporate architecture
  4. Oracle cloud Database

I'll be honest and I don't know a lot of web dev, or machine learning, etc. I don't know which would be better in terms of learnings (and also have a good chance of bagging a PPO). Anyone who works in oracle has any idea? Please do help.

OCI without a doubt, been working there for 3+ years now and it's almost always exciting. Had a friend working in Oracle Analytics and he wasn't very happy with their tech stack (I don't remember what it was). Have worked previously in Oracle Database, you need a lot of experience with the architecture of it to do well. People usually work on the databases after almost 5 years of architecture knowledge. Unless the database in question is the Autonomous Database, go for OCI.

I've put up OCI at the top, but I've heard very few people get it. Corp architecture is second, analytics is third and database is fourth..

Might depend on the college you're from. Have personally seen a good number of interns in OCI

Oracle database - that’s what their known for, that’s what makes the money for them - you’d likely learn the most there and work on something meaningful for the company

Would it be good even if I don't know anything about backend or frontend?
