Taxes are a major pain with PMS. Every trade that the fund manager does requires you to pay a tax if it was a profitable position.

This tax needs to come out of your other income or else you will have exit some portion of your PMS to pay the tax.

Minimum is 50 lakh as per SEBI. Most PMS have their own and much higher limits in terms of crores. I don't use any though.

Anyone used a PMS service ?

Are they worth it ? Do they give returns close to what's advertised? I've seen this ad for wright research where they mentioned 60%+ returns for last years 😵‍💫
