I think the 1st ones are the ones who value spending time with loved ones more. The 2nd ones are one who wants all the luxuries in life!
We cannot debate 1 is better than the other, but sooner or later people figure out what they want in life. Especially when they get older. If I were to guess, older/more experienced people might have chosen the 1st one, younger ones chose the 2nd. Wdyt @Coolgoose ?

Spot on. I like the way you’ve explained the rationale behind preferring one of these ways as opposed to other. 👍
I voted for option 1, so now you know which category I belong to. 😀

I voted for the same. But I am an exception, I am a bit too young to have voted for 1. But I just like peace more than money.
What's the point in having lots of money if I have to slog off hours and hours for a thing that really no one outside of my team cares about? Or rather, What's the point in staying at a place where I dread the Mondays or the managers if it still pays well!😔

Perfectly balanced, as everything should be.

WLB should be like the result of this poll. Fingers crossed 🤞.

Depends on which stage of career I’m in. Straight out of college.. let me make some money for few years… then option get a chill job and keep loooking for option 3

Appreciate your perspective. By the way, I see no reason for people falling under option 3: “good worklife, full freedom, high paying” to exist on grapevine.

Depends on what exactly is 'low salary'.
