I’m currently at a career crossroads and would appreciate your insights.
I have 4.2 years of experience in backend development and distributed systems. Recently, I was impacted by a layoff at Gupshup, and now I’m fortunate to have received multiple offers.
My primary goals are: • Better stability (especially post-layoff) • Healthy work-life balance (WLB) • Strong tech growth and long-term career prospects
All roles are offering similar compensation (±3–4 LPA), so I’m focusing on team culture, tech stack, career trajectory, and work-life balance.
Here are the offers I’ve received (all for similar CTCs): 1. Ivanti – Senior Software Engineer 2. Macquarie – Senior Software Engineer 3. Airtel – Senior Software Engineer 4. Park+ – SDE II 5. Thoughtworks – Senior Java Consultant 6. Publicis Sapient – Associate L1 Engineer 7. Tyroo – Tech Lead 8. Exotel – Member of Technical Staff II (MTS II)
Would love to hear your thoughts on: • Which companies are known for strong tech culture and growth? • Which ones have better stability and work-life balance? • Any red/green flags to be aware of?
