Which one to choose as a career option for my brother?

P.s : no interest in marine engineering.

BMS college of engineering, Bangalore - computer science related branch
Merchant navy from top IMU like TS chanakya, IMU Kolkata

My friend did btech in marine engineering for 4 years. Just after his 1st internship on a ship completed, he left it. Henis now prepping for mba. Being a marine engineer is very hard, 7 months straight on the sea, not much communication with peers, work almost similar to mechanics and depressing as well. (This is what he told me)

Until and unless you are really interested in marine don't even think of going in that direction

What max he can do in engineering
No offense !

There is not any hope that he has much interest in actually how engineering things are ( how things are made) as like we all
He will surely get placed if his childhood basics are clear and he will do a lit bit steps in colleges but the question still remains the same ! as like all except that 1 pecent people he has same lifestyle same problems as every enginner have

One should choose based on job role. CS in BMS will have better opportunities later.
