8 Types of Software Engineers

1. The “It Depends” guy Never gives a straight answer, but always ends up being right

2. The Silent Operator Doesn't talk in meetings, but somehow fixes everything

3. The System Rebuilder Wants to rewrite everything with microservices and event sourcing (usually right, but terrifying)

4. The Quick Patcher Will solve your problem in 5 minutes (Just don't look at the code)

5. The Documentation Expert Their code breaks like everyone else's but at least you know why

6. The “Actually” Specialist Will tell you why you are wrong (Usually after you have deployed)

7. The Optimistic estimator "2 days max!" ( It is never 2 days)

8. The Pragmatic pessimist Adds 3x to every estimate somehow still delivers late but saves the project every time

I will start. I am kind of “The Quick Patcher” and “The Optimistic estimator” got my deadlines wrong always.
