Which market in Accenture do you belong to?

also they are outsourcing most roles in growth markets like India and Philippines so mostly they will layoff from American and Europe and that too from strategy and consulting as it doesn’t have good growth this quarter.

May I know, how you know all this!!

following articles in economictimes ft mint for months now and those reports correlate with what acn ceo said in cnbc interview
interesting to see will be how witch companies will handle cost cutting in their fiscal report

for people who are stressing
this isn’t breaking news as portrayed in media.
They are expecting decrease in cash flow till next fiscal year and hence they are doing cost cutting.
Luckily instead of mass layoffs which they do, they are doing cost cutting mainly by reducing office spaces. They also find out that they are wasting huge money in their L6-L9 position managers and hence axing them first. They also did huge hiring in non-billable roles post pandemic which I felt they realise it was excessive. They anyway layoff worst 5% performers every year.
Mostly freshers with less than 1 yoe and people with offer letters shouldn’t worry till Sep of this fiscal year as they can be billable in future and cost less compared to seniors

Even Associate Director (which is nothing but like polished L6(SM)). Like other tech giants are reducing layers i.e. managers managing managers. Overall pyramid will become more flat with tilt towards L10-L12.
