My colleague: This is to inform you that I will be taking leave today as I am visiting the hospital due to severe fever and cold. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will resume my work on Monday. Requesting you to approve my leave for one day.
Me: I’m planning to take leave on November 5th.
