Which is the better way after a bachelor's in design?
Do elaborate in the comments too :)

Both?

Damn, why tho

Helps you showcase diversity of skills. Research papers help you highlight skills like written communication, secondary research and also primary research skills which is important for every designer. Try to get both. And incase you decide to go for masters abroad, you already have research papers which are highly valued there. Best of luck

All that matters is your work and the brands in your CV in design

Damn, what would you look at if you were recruiting?

A degree don’t really matter in design, unless you pursue one to gain new skills and knowledge.
Design is really vast and there are a lot of aspects that you can explore with internships and freelance work. After a few years you can think of a specialisation masters. By then you’ll know what interests and motivates you.

Interesting, but why is that the right approach in your opinion? Why do you think design is seen in not such a structured manner (referencing your opinion)? Is it just an Indian thing?
