Suzuki and Toyota suck in this range when it comes to safety. Their build quality is really poor. Toyota used to be great but now itโ€™s really bad.

Go for Honda (City or Amaze) or Tata (Nexon)

Honda for engine and refinement Tata for safety, build quality and reliability

MG Comet is the most practical car.

Hyundai is for the experience (but slightly more expensive)

Tata is good but after sales is a hit or an absolutely messed up miss.

Maruti is for the mileage. Drive far, and don't talk about safety.

Kia -- just get a Hyundai, don't bother.

VW -- 6L??

Honda - You'll miss City.

Depends on the state also from where you are buying. Bangalore RTO is costliest in India

If you are looking for the smoothest automatic car with good safety and low running costs, the Tata Tiago EV is a no brainer as long as you have a covered parking spot and can get a plug point.

Else the Hyundai cars like the i20 or venue will work but none of them will match the drive experience of an EV
