Is it better to resign or getting fired from work? Does it come up in background checks later?

It does come in background check as ‘reason for leaving’. They mention Terminate in experience certificate. So, it is better to resign if you want to continue in corporate. If doing startup etc then get fired and take severance.

@Pretty no, they don't because if you terminate, it becomes a labour law issue, hence they force you to resign
