Which is better for Data Engineer?

Afaik insider information - Walmart f up in hiring and they overhired hearing stories like people getting piped left and right. So I would strongly advise to prioritise stability over a flashy name that will not stick with you for the long term. My 2 cents.

Cost of living in chennai is less than bangalore, but walmart brand is better, try negotiating using gen digital offer

Yeah, Walmart seems little confused in CTC part, HR confirmed but Hiring Manager seems sceptical. They're creating a very doubtful situation now.

Walmart don't budge baby. My wife tried it previously, when hiring itself was aggressive. They'll offer to some other candidate if you try nego using other offer.

What's your total experience and how did you get calls. Wanted to know because I am also looking for a change in similar profile

I got calls from naukri.com, had to create a very strong profile with all relevant keywords and all. And don't just wait for the calls, apply apply and apply. I'd have applied in more than 5k companies, got call back from around 25 only, few companies called directly from thier side without me applying at their job, now from these 25-30 I interviewed only with 11 and finally till offer discussion only 4 company reached.

Affine.ai is good, will have a lot of learning and a good career ahead

Got to know it's service based and I have experience of service based, I worked in TCS for 3.5 years. And as per some research accross internet I found among these options they've worst work culture with heavy workload.

Check culture of Affine.ai and go for it. Walmart is a brand but stability not there means its a mistake join there.
HSBC and Gen Digital quite dont have the pull and look like a services companies.

Affine is service based, and considering their client and the team's approach, it seems very heavy workload. Walmart and HSBC denied to match 26, and later they didn't even provide OL with less value. Gen is product based and one of the best US companies. Joining it only now as have no other option (opportunity).

Why is no one talking about HSBC? I feel it must have a lot more perks. If we consider how Walmart is as per the top comment, try HSBC. What are the perks there

HSBC told they've a lots of perks, and as per their Manager and HR it seemed the best option. Flexible work hours, flexible wfh/wfo options, great leave policies, one of the best health insurance policy etc etc. But they first told they'll match 26, later told they can't go beyond 20, for this also I said I'm happy to join, as I'll get to stay in Bengaluru only but later they only ghosted me.
