Trending @Wipro; Which is best mode of travel
If I travel to my home in 2tier AC with my spouse and 1 kid, it will cost 5k & will take 22 hours to reach. At the same time if I go by flight it will cost 17k (3 tickets) & will reach in 90 mins. We used to go to our hometown only once in a year. Considering all factors (specifically frequent accidents in train) which one is best to travel with child from above 2 modes? Please share your suggestion. Thanks.
If you have more time then go by train. If you want to save time go by flight. Anyway child would always love to go by air. I can suggest go by train 1 way and by Air 1 way. Train accidents were a hot topic recently but not always the case.
I have total 4 journey. Like I stay in Hyderabad. From Hyderabad to my brother place by Flight. Then anyways from my brother place to my actual home 7hrs train journey. Then again return to my brother place by 7hrs train journey. Finally return to Hyderabad by again flight. So there would be 2 flight journey and 2 train journey of 7hrs each. If I add one train journey then it would be 22hrs which would be hectic for my kid. So only thinking of this plan. Whats your say on above plan? Would this be fine? Or should add 1 more train journey to make 1 flight and 3 train journey?

With monsoon going on , travel is fussy anyways, by which ever transport.
I feel we have to prioritise multiple back up options for the mode of transport and the route we choose.
Chances are high that flights frequently get delayed due to the weather.
Given that the travel time is 22 hours by train, In monsoon,It's better to choose air travel rather than train
