Which company next
I have total 16 YOE. joined TCS in 2023 as Data Architect on 32 LPA May be the way HR was negotiating package like fish market should have been my red flag that I ignored. Anyways, it’s 2 years since then. Back to Back A ratings, excellent client relations, great feedback from managers but none of this gets translated to money. No salary hike ever since I joined. I am on C3B level and every time get to hear same crap. I am a new mom but getting stress on my finances due to no raise in 2 years! Expenses never reduce in a family. The only way out is switch. But which organisation can play well and take use of my knowledge instead of just showing off without actual policy implementation and also supportive enough of new mother?

- LPA, Still not happy in life? It means you are a big failure in life.
bro It's not about 32 lpa, she doesn't get what she deserves as a Senior Data Architect. she can easily get 40 to 60 lpa in the current market. hope you get my point

Thanks for the tag. Let me try it this ways. Research the package of a Data Architect in market with cloud data platform experience, may be 32LPA wouldn’t sound good then. If not, think it this ways.. you have to give pay raise to your house help every year, your children’s school fees raises every year. Inflation is all time high. People work hard to get paycheck in return. Annual raise isn’t a luxury, it’s right of employees. Not getting for 2 straight years even after all the efforts is disheartening. And yeah not every A band comes with relationship, I have joined TCS just 2 years back, with team spread across locations. What you said sounded very biased notion but ok
Hi @RealisticSpokesman, first of all congratulations 👏. hope your baby is well.
getting 32 LPA with 16 YOE in TCS is the biggest achievement for you. I have a colleague in my odc who has 22 years of experience with 24 lpa I think he wants to retire from tcs until his last breath.
So, I guess you get that much of a hike because of switching and that's totally fine as per TCS. Yes, what are you feeling now that's absolutely correct. I advise you to prepare again and switch to another company.
P.S. Now TCS has changed so don't stay here because of so called 😁 Job security I hope you also understand well. Best of luck for your future 👍

Bro I did same mistake in market you will easily get 55-65 lpa

They don't play fair, same with me, first negotiated for very cheap, then since 1 year I have been over achieving, got a better offer else where, now they are trying to give me according to market standards, why did you hired for less at first place.

Yeah they don’t. I had chosen the option because of WFH option, but that was just a trap. Infact their variable pay is also a trap. Felt like being cheated by TCS HR

Honestly, at 16 YOE, 32 is less in IT... Other companies will easily give 45+
Companies like IBM, Accenture or any GCC will give a better environment
Or if your current workload is giving time for your new baby, maybe you can opt to compromise on the package for sometime and give quality time to your kid.
All the best!

If you are not able to manage with 32 LPA it means you are a biggest failure and getting back to back good rating could be good relationships with manager n bit communication skills but not the good technical skills , now days outside market is too tight so be calm and focus your technical skills
