Company with the most positive impact for the global population, can definitely be one that offers the best value at little to no cost of entry. If you just have basic internet, and an android (google open source) you can get free access to a multitude of totally free google products one can use to make life easier.
Maps, search, youtube, translate, gmail, drive, gpay.. they solve problems of day-today life for FREE.
Used Google to complete graduation, still use it to finish the work. People say "Google it" when clueless not "Apple it/Microsoft it" 😛

Talking about the Global Population here, Android holds 70% share. Yes, Windows is goto OS, but you install it only once and not every home has it. Google is like a necessity, windows is more like a luxury service.
google is being overrated here.
and underrated is a defacto free desktop operating system and virtually instant delivery of almost everything.
Microsoft is king on its own. They are more like developer centric, example Xbox partner program for game developers also XBox game pass, really underrated service, I get access to over 200 awesome games for just Rs.400/per mo. , we have VScode, Azure 2nd most used cloud service and perfect cor startups as there's a Microsoft for startups program which gives credits to startups upto $250,000 right from idea stage (even no idea stage, just connect your LinkedIn account). Also I shifted from Chrome browser to Edge, can't be any happier, I just love it.
There's power bi for data analysis.
They also have most powerful tool, called Power Automate to automate tasks on your PC like even opening a browser and searching for something.
