We shouldn't ideally never bid for the Olympics. In 90% of the cases the host city loses money and the country can also go into a minor depression due to the costs like Brazil or Greece did.

Ahmedabad is a great option. Lot of space around riverfront to set up iconic venues. Less traffic and congestion issues. Better municipality than lot of other cities.
