In my search I found DS being paid more. Alotugh without DE, DS is not possible. But DS is at top of the food chain. They interact with management to fix business hence more pay. Very few roles in this domain. Very very few roles which do actual DS. Otherwise ppl in general DS role do mix of all three DA, DE, DS.

That's the thigh if ds openings are less u cannot bag multiple offers in ur notice period and leverage high packages which is what sdes with 6 experience do and get upto 1 cr whereas de openings are more so it will be easier to go upto 1 cr in 7 yoeye
