Which badminton racket to choose from?
I have not seen many sports related posts on this app, so apologies if this is not the correct forum. I am a regular badminton player and mainly play on a recreational basis. My current racket broke and now looking for recommendations for my next one. Current racket - Yonex Astrox lite 27i
Options I have shortlisted -
- Yonex Astrox lite 27i (same as earlier one, it's damn good racket) 30 lbs
- Yonex Astrox Attack 9 ( 32 lbs)
- Apacs Z ziggler (38 lbs)
- Apacs finapi 232 ( 38 lbs)
I'm mainly looking for a lightweight racket with a good smash. All the above fit the requirements. Let me know if you have used any of the above and would recommend them. Or alternatively do suggest anything else. Budget is primarily less than 3k.

Good Yonex Rackets start from approx 5k.
All the above mentioned are beginner level rackets.
I would suggest to go for li ning ignite 8 or axforce cannon if you can strecth your budget a bit.
I jave used ignite 7 and one of the advanced players at my centre played with it and liked it so much that he purchased it from me.
Apacs z ziggler is also a good racket but would not recommend for smashes as it is a balaced racket.
