Which areas in Bangalore are hit with water scarcity?

I spoke with some friends in Bellandur, Sharjapur and they all claim they have no problem whatsoever. However, the media is going crazy everywhere. Just wondering what areas are hit the most with water scarcity? Also, mention if YOU are facing the problem yourself and what are you doing about it?
