Infosys,Tcs, Wipro,HCl,all such Indian it giants will never do any layoff on performance grounds,even if you did not hit the minimum expectations. Only if you leak any data or insult any top leader very badly ,then only.

Zeta has also decreased the package offered to new joiners. SDE Intern stipend was 1.25L in 2022 vs 65K in 2024. SDE-1 base was 25L with 4L joining bonus in 2022, which has decreased to 16-18L with no joining bonus in 2023.
