Multitude of SFDC projects are running in numerous capacities from small improvements to big AD projects with absolute need of good developers not admins , the shortage is that we are hiring from outside and we don’t have good resources inside or atleast recommended by RMG situation is cousourcing is happening with technical teams
You turned a hypocrite recently or where from the start ? . You are saying we have development project and also saying need good developers . Which client will pay you for pathetic talent and how can you operate development projects with fresher Admins . For external hires they hestitate to roll out the offers as per market conditions hence the external hires dont join on the joining date as they get good offers somewhere . I myself work with a team of 15 people . Whenever I call bench folks for our requirment all they want is admin work or business Analyst work. No one is ready to learn development here . Even if we get a developer by fighting with the account team , the developer wont stay here for long as they think the support projects here wont add to their development skills growth .There is a big shortage of quality developers here . I am not saying we need all talented peoples but atleat we need to have 40-50% of the team damn good in what they do. Even the clients are hesitant to give more business because of this talent crunch. If you know any good development salesforce project accounts in tcs please let me know.
