where should i invest?

i have a small amount in hand 3-4 lakhs. i feel that I don’t want to invest in:

1. FDs - i have a couple of them already
2. MFs - feels market is unstable (and have SIPs going on)
3. Gold - since it is all time high

what do you suggest? i might want this amount back in next 2-3 years. please correct me if any of the reasonings are wrong. TIA.
