Where People Matter

I've read many stories here: stories of layoffs, of workplaces that take more than they give, of cultures that wear people down instead of lifting them up.

But in the world we live in, I want to ask.

Are there companies where people matter?

Where respect isn’t just a buzzword, but the way things are done?

Where growth isn’t just for the business, but for the people who build it—so they can focus on their lifestyle design too? Where a competitive salary and a good manager/the right support isn’t a favor, but bare minimum?

They don’t have to be famous. They don’t have to be Fortune 500. But I would love to know they exist.

If you or someone you know have worked at a place like this, tell me about it. Let’s name the good ones too as we continue reading all the stories.

Let me be honest. I have been extremely lucky so far in 'People' department. At times, my managers were nice, who would take a stand, have my back, push for excellence, and share life wisdom. At other times, teammates were good. Open and honest, who would push each other to be better at life outside work too.
Where neither was good, the company culture 'top to bottom' was good. Any toxic misfit, would either have to leave or change their behaviour. I consider myself blessed and only have gratitude 😊
