My option which is not mentioned. Have a good 3-5 year stint in US/abroad/wherever I get more 💸, live frugally abroad, save a ton and comeback to India. I would love to work in India with a F* off fund, earning enough interest for my monthly expense.
Long term, I don't want to move abroad, In India I can get driver, cook easily by paying money and sitting home + want to stay close to old parents. Literally no other benefits for me by staying here. Max I would go UAE or Singapore(will manage the racism for anything above 180k SGD)
If you want to move abroad, atleast think of how your next 5 years are gonna be. Too many folks with MS abroad are looking for jobs, there's no quick way to get abroad with job right now too. You want to do medicore work in UK/Canada your choice bruh, but reach out to people there and ask how job market is + ask from diff people there.
Most people's motivation going abroad is money or the freedom vibe, Indian relatives and society is becoming too toxic for people to do anything without getting unsolicited opinions.

Is that the job market state currently in US?. I heard that there are plenty of AI jobs (in news)?. Is that true for MS candidates?

Have about 9 friends who went to US for MS, 3 of them are still looking for jobs after graduating, 1 of them works for a shit consultancy with shittier pay to maintain visa status and looking to switch.
The jobs are not increasing at the same rate compared to supply.
Nearly 10% of people from my college batch, are working US/Canada/UK.
Not to sound cynical or hopeless, there are jobs but recruiters are being picky about the colleges, your stats, higher bars for interview and 100s of application for a fresh dev job would mean difficult chance at interviews. Referrals are still good and working. Do your due diligence of job market by reaching out to alumni of your prospective college, see where they at, how was the hiring process etc.
