Where am I going wrong with Job Switch Hunting ?
I have 20 days of my notice period left and also can leave early but I am not getting any interview calls even as a immediate joiner. Even I am updating my naukri profile daily, applying on instahyre and LinkedIn my resume is also ATS friendly. Domain I am switching for is Cloud, Devops or SRE. Can someone help me with some good strategy and referral. Currently I have total of 3.4 years of Experience.
Go for referral it's better direct applications are lost in the cloud
I have tried that too either the position got closed within 24 hrs of job posting by the time of referral or after referral no contact from other side
Typically hiring slows down in Nov Dec with leaves etc …. Demand is expected to pick up starting Jan … spend your efforts on up skilling/practicing for interviews …. best of luck !!
Do a reality check: is your tech stack relevant to current demands? For example, in Data Engineering, migrations are happening from legacy systems to the cloud.

Check for walk-ins, high conversion rates, and quick results. Be flexible to travel to Bangalore on weekends if needed.

As a last resort, check with your friends who are getting calls for similar roles. Obtain HR contacts and get in touch with them.

- Have good experience on migration of legacy to cloud from scratch
- I have experience in almost all latest tech stack Docker, K8s, major monitoring tools, gcp, aws, terraform, Linux, ansible.
- I have no issue with walk-in interview recently o went to Gurgaon from Pune for walk-in but the hike they giving is almost 10-15% that too daily work from office
- Regarding Naukri I update my description using ChatGPT and give my flavour and some addition for authenticity
- I am hoping on last resort only 🤣 upskiling daily, applying and asking for referral.
