When you polarize, you capture attention. Do you agree?
I see lot of people who have polarizing personality, like, they would say the dankest things, be cocky, have next level God complex, think they are the father to everyone around etc who shouldn't be having any friends, to be doing extremely well in social construct.
Few examples -
- The most polarizing content, one that would create an online war, results in most people engaging to it. That's why social media fuels and spreads "the bad" more than "the good"(Cambridge Analytica)
- We want infighting, arguments, fights in life. That's why violence, news channels with no content but only spineless debates and Bigg Boss is so rampant/popular
- Your friend/acquaintance who you think is a total red flag, with no shred of empathy has the most active social life.
None of this to the sane mind would want to make sense, but when we think it across, it's fundamentally true that we are in some form attracted to the most polarized people/ content.
Something for you to ponder- You aren't in general rewarded for safeguarding your code for any issues, but rather rewarded for putting out the fire after impact
What do you guys think? Is this true? Is this fair?
