When you do you actually become a senior product designer?

I am just wondering what should be the bare minimum skills which are required for one to be a senior product designer?

Yoe is not equal to having skills.

Learn and showcase skills if your managers really appreciate your work then they will promote you irrespective of YOE

I agree, but as a product designer , you have to think beyond just figma skills, visual design and how products work, you also have time wear a biz hat and look at other things when youre solving a problem. That doesn’t come unless you have worked in the industry
