When will the layoffs start? Looking forward to it.
I'm eagerly looking forward to the layoffs and hope to be part of it. People like me have become too comfortable in TCS and moreover we are toooo scared to switch or see the outside world. I have to agree I have been a loser, and hence atleast this one push should be enough for me. I just wish they don't layoff the people who have given 20+ years at the company as they now have stable job and family to look after.
For people like me, who are still bachelor's it's best to be laid off. Bonus - No notice period. Will get to know the industry, ofcourse will struggle for a month or two, but will eventually get a good job with 30%+ hike.
When people like me share they wanna resign from TCS, there's a pushback from family like No, this is a good job. People outside aren't getting jobs, the market is tough, etc.
My question is when was the market easy?? Never......
Tough times make tough people.
Layoff will not reach C2 level. It starts from C3A.
C2 are the golden goose of TCS. ALL projects are removing C3A to C5 and replacing them with C1, C2.
Then there will be more layoffs as C1 &C2 don't have required competencies and communication skills to interact with customers.

They are not terminating, instead they are sending emails like you will be released to rmg in this date, proabably next 1 or 2 months
