Kuch bhi? Bro how you even suggesting AR/VR when it's at such a nascent stage. Sure there's a chance but if you're just gonna go based on chance it's a bad suggestion. Also AR/VR is just another tech stack that people can easily pick up if they've done coding on any other stack. Just do dsa, keep doing personal projects and start cold mailing small startups
