When will layoff end in 2024 ?
Hey I'm 2022 sept graduate in CS . I'm jobless from a year , i have offer letter but joining nhi aa rha . I want to know when hirings be normal again for freshers in 2024 .
I don't want to sound condescending, but it is hard to speculate with accuracy. Personally, my understanding is that it will continue till May, then around June-July more layoffs will happen. Things will start to get back around October/November and will stay the same from Jan-May 25.
Never; this will get more worse due to AI & cost associated with implementing it.
Things are going to be the same till 2024 financial year end and post that, market opens up in india around May end post covid. Hence, June 2025. Till then there is going to be limited hiring and for every post, 3x people are going to apply for it. So its gonna be hard to get an offer but not impossible.
