Have been trying to switch for the past 6-7 months. Initially till June I was actually getting calls. After that in September I did not even get a single callback. No interviews for September and October. Everyone out there is just suffering.
An acquaintance daughter called me and she was crying she could not land a Business Development role even for a mere salary of 20-25k p.m. i could not help.
My resume is fine as I have had it vetted on r/resumes. I have 2.3Yoe. Nothing is working. I just wish to die. I wanted to save money for my master's as my mother cannot afford to pay cause Father's dead.
Nothing is working. When will all of this become at least bearable?
Stay strong, man! The job market is tough these days, but the reason you are not getting calls is because it's the festival season. Believe me, even in 2021, there's a chance that you will not receive calls between October to December. Be prepared; everything will be alright.
And remember, you are not alone in this. I know many people who lost their jobs and are still jobless. At least we have a job. Just wait and believe in God; everything is going to be alright.
