When should I resign?

I had a HR discussion for CTC job location and all the things but they had not released a offer letter yet, should I resign from my current organization now or wait to get a official offer letter ? Please help me out

  1. Are you leaving or joining tcs?
  2. Are you allocated to project or in bench?
  3. Are you looking for early release?

Answer depends on above questions. Normally it is not advised to resign before offer letter, but depends on case to case.

Yes. They might release you within a week. So very risky without offer letter
