When should I give up Software Engineering
Hi Everyone, I'm trying for a job in bangalore for over 6 months now, was suffering from anxiety attacks so started taking medicine. People laid off way later than me have started with their new jobs and are happy yet I'm still struggling here looking for a job, they are getting hikes and I'm just looking to get hired. Is it time that I should give up engineering and pursue other domains?? Because Engineering used to excite me and how my luck has treated me and how much unnecessary problems I'm facing, I'm doubting if I should give up now.
I want to know the honest opinion. I ve been upskilling and coding , but not getting any interview

Hey man.... With this resume, you would have got very high package job in 2020 , 2021 when macro economic condition were excellent.... It is not your fault.. Stop blaming yourself.... You will get your due once macro economic condition improves

How come other people laid off with me from my batch are getting offers then with hikes 🥲🥲🥲

Have you tried understand whats going wrong like i mean are you not getting calls or unable to clear dsa or unable to explain though process

Not lying, Few interviews were because of DSA , so improved over that. Then 1-2 , I fumbled. Many I said the correct things, wrote the correct working code. But still got rejected in the end.
I improve continousuly, make projects and code on a daily basis but this last part is the one which I'm not able to understand

Why am I getting rejected, I swear if this interviews were offline one, i would have converted them but they are not happening anytime soon. So i don't know

My hopes goes with you bro. You will soon get a nice job. My suggestion from my very little exp dont go for big tech just try startups. Dont go on building projects its not gona help much from what ive learned. Also just use linkedin as much u could . Things will eventually workout focus more on dsa if possible.

The market is tough right now . Sometimes it is just a matter of getting the right opportunity and luck is involved.
That being said I think your resume does not inspire a lot of confidence at the first glance . I would suggest you spend sometime working on your resume.
Skills section
Languages you have written c++ I am not sure which of these projects who have worked on use this. The most comfortable language you are in should be given first. The latest project uses reactjs library but there is no mention of it in languages section. Remove sql from languages unless you are applying for DB admin position. Reactjs is mentioned in projects but missing in frameworks section.
Projects
Projects please add languages and tools used. Second project at PharmEasy I have no idea what
languages and tools you have used.
The language used to describe work in projects looks like copy and paste . Wording could be better. You should write it in such a way that it looks like you have done a lot of work
Look for keywords that companies are looking for the position you are targeting and include them in your resume.
Your resume is the first thing they see so you need to make sure your resume is good.
All the best 👍

top 100 interview leet code is must solve before you start giving interviews , same goes for language basics and little bit of system design. As 1 year experience guy, these are expected.

Bro u from RV with experience and this is the situation. How messed up is the market actually?
