Checked the Workday update — no change in my position. Surprisingly, a girl from the same project and the same level got promoted. In the last cycle, my manager had assured me of a promotion in this one. I've been holding on to that hope and working with that in mind. It really hurts to see it not happen. Been genuinely waiting and expecting this… deeply disappointed and heartbroken.

Not at all brother. I have waiting on my promotion since 3 years now, always with excellent client reviews and great appraisal words. But nothing gets reflected in the outcome. They keep saying business loss, lesser number of promotions and stuff.
I said the same thing. Idk someone got offended and deleted my comment. I stated the facts.
No hate to anyone, i got promoted too.
But, in my team there is a girl, she is not at all technically sound, still she is getting promoted to senior analyst.
One of my male colleague, who handels almost everything in the project is not getting promoted.
In my team, everyone was so sure that in this cycle he will get promotion, but noo its not the case.
This is unfair, they should give promotion as per performance base
To be honest, you were wrong to trust your manager with your future.

True. No one care about man hard work. Same situation in every project even i too didn’t get promotion after doing hard work.
