Trending @Cognizant; When A gets promoted to SA?

Is there a set criteria which states that an Associate has to complete dedicated months before being promoted to a Senior associate? Say the associate has 4 YOE and joined CTS recently?

I joined as Associate after my masters and its been 3 yrs 8 months. What should I do to get promoted to SA?

It depends on the account to account basis also your manager should push it for you though I guess YOE has been changed to 7 or 7+ for SA promotion but it can be done earlier as if your Manager wants it.

There is no auto promotion to SA, you either need to apply for promotion eligible SO to other projects or ask your manager to raise promotion eligible SO within account.
