What's your thought on not having kid(s)
If you have made it so far, so as to read this post , we ought to consider ourselves lucky and there is one perspective which I have and would like to know the community's response on it.
Our ancestors had to endure and survive through passages of climate changes, civilizational decays, food shortages, invasions, wars, genocides, terrible diseases ... right from cave men with no tools to us ordering stuff now in few clicks. That we are alive today is a blessing. At no point in time has humanity been so medically and technologically advanced as today. Agreed, the political and economic conditions could be better but we are still way better off than when we regularly fought wars.
So what do you feel about having to pull a plug and decide about not proceeding to have a next generation ? Is it solely our own decision or do we also owe it to the efforts of our ancestors who through numerous challenges in the course of history to stay alive because of which whoever is reading this post is alive and breathing.
